Robert Garzee is Chairman & CEO of Synergy EV, Inc., a 13 year old Electronic Vehicle support firm headquartered in Silicon Valley. He is also Chairman and President of Sinergia Transporte Electrico SA of Costa Rica, a 6 year old Central American Electric Vehicle company. His companies provide consulting, program management, product development, engineering, training, financing and implementation of electric and hybrid vehicle projects. Bob has an MBA, 13 years with IBM, was CEO for a $70,000,000 Distribution company, CEO of two Software Development firms and designer of two Multi-media technology products in Silicon Valley. His firms have implemented over 50 buses and multiple trucks, industrial, and patrol vehicles.

Ed Bless has been CEO of H2 Solutions Inc. and its DBA, Blueline Power, since 2002.
Prior to his current position with Blueline Power, Ed managed Silicon Valley high tech computer, internet equipment, and semiconductor equipment organizations for 20 years. He worked through the ranks of Silicon Valley, and in 2001, served as COO for a medium sized equipment company. His main skill has been as a key problem solver, team leader, and strategic planning leader. He now focuses his attention on the need to increase U.S. clean energy system adoption.

Blueline Power assesses, designs, and installs site specific clean energy systems including; solar, wind, biomass, biodiesel and others. They often begin by using an energy mapping process that determines the best life cycle cost of equipment.

Mr. Bless has a BS degree, specializing in atmospheric science and has completed some graduate work in engineering and business.

Margo Sidener, MS, CHES

Margo Leathers Sidener, the Silicon Valley Clean Cities Coalition Coordinator, currently serves as President and CEO of Breathe California of the Bay Area, a 99-year-old nonprofit grassroots organization that was formed to fight lung disease and protect lung health. She has developed and implemented alternative fuel vehicle projects for the last decade, focusing on corporate and municipal fleets, and has conducted clean commute and public transportation advocacy for two decades. The agency’s newest clean air program is Youth for a Cool Earth (YCE), which worked with a three-school campus to reduce traffic and energy use. YCE trains and utilizes students as peer mentors to recruit stakeholder participation.

Margo began her affiliation with the agency twenty-seven years ago as a volunteer. Initially hired in 1982 as a part-time program staff for a specific project, Margo moved progressively through the organization and was appointed Executive Director in 1988.

Margo has a Master of Science Degree in Health Education from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York and is a Certified Health Education Specialist. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Illinois
