On January 13th, the Green Team (Breathe California, Silicon Valley Clean Cities Coalition, and the Electronic Transportation Development Center) hosted a free “Compressed Natural Gas & Propane – Today’s Alternatives!” workshop at the Automotive Technology Department at De Anza College in Cupertino. The workshop was held in collaboration with the North Carolina State University and was funded by the DOE. Rich Cregar from Wake Technical Community College in NC was the keynote speaker. In addition, there were 4 local speakers: Ben Deal, Business Development Manager, Clean Energy Fuels and Scott Sheridan, Account Manager, Ferrellgas presenting the fuel providers perspective and Don Beam, Fleet Manager (ret.), City of San Jose and Kyle Baldasano, Regional Director, Corinthian Parking offering the perspective of fuel users.
