Save the date for the Green Transportation Financing workshop hosted by the Silicon Valley Clean Cities Coalition (SVCCC) & the Electronic Transportation Development Center (ETDC) at Breathe California, 1469 Park Ave, San Jose, CA 95126.
This workshop is an opportunity for fleet managers and AFV manufacturers to learn more about how to take advantage of our $200 million green order financing to implement your cleaner emission transportation projects and spread the cost over several years.
The workshop will include examples of green transportation financing in the following areas:
- Solar fueling of electric vehicles
- CNG vehicles
- Propane buses
- Electric vehicles
Also: a $52,000 new CNG vehicle will be on display.

Synergy Electronic Vehicles, Inc. is a 19 year old California corporation dedicated to implementing alternative fuel vehicles into fleet service. Clean Cities Stakeholders Meeting

On July 27, the Silicon Valley Clean Cities Coalition held a stakeholders meeting at the City View Plaza in San Jose. Twenty-four stakeholders attended – a large number of them were also ETDC members. They enjoyed wine and hors d'oeuvres while sharing their role in the green transportation business, and SVCCC Coordinator Margo Sidener (CEO & President of Breathe California) outlined the Clean Cities Coalition’s mission to improve the Bay Area’s air quality through the advancement of AFVs.
The attendees also filled out a questionnaire. Among other things, they were asked what workshop topics they would like to see SVCCC put on in the future. Here are some of the answers given:
