In collaboration with Electronic Transportation Development Center (ETDC) and Breathe California, Silicon Valley Clean Cities Coalition hosted the Plug-in Electric Vehicles & Infrastructure Workshop on October 7th, 2011 at San Jose City Hall.

Silicon Valley fleet and community members were invited to attend this workshop which included speakers from PG&E, Bay Area Air Quality Management District, City of Milpitas, AAraya and the Green Transportation Workforce Development the workshop covered a wide array of topics including solar fueling of electric vehicles (EVs), workforce development training on EVs, the California Plug-in EVs Readiness Project, and the potential impact an increasing number of EVs would have on the electrical grid.

Bob Garzee, Founder & Manager, ETDC, and Damian Breen, Director, Strategic Incentives Division, Bay Area Air Quality Management District were interviewed at the San Jose Clean Energy Showcase by KGO News 810 AM.
