2025 was our biggest year yet, with a total reduction equivalent to 24,856,499 gallons.

Hybrid vehicles, or HEVs, are powered both by an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. The electric motor helps power the vehicle and allows the engine to shut off when stopped, providing better fuel economy and lower tailpipe emissions than gas-only vehicles.
HEVs are a great alternative to fully electric vehicles in areas without EV charging infrastructure, offering a cleaner, more cost-effective option than gas-only vehicles.

Alternative fuel vehicles run on sources other than gasoline, like electricity, ethanol, biodiesel, or natural gas. Alternative fuel technology is developing rapidly and aims to make sustainable, low-emission options more accessible.

When vehicles idle, they consume gas unnecessarily - which costs both the individual and the environment. Idle reduction comes from technologies for heavy-duty trucks, and from individual choices: idling for just 10 seconds costs more fuel and emits more CO2 than restarting your engine.
Instead of idling, you can make a difference by turning off your car when waiting for passengers, parking instead of using drive-thrus, and warming up your engine by driving slowly.
